My brother has been singing the praises of the DISH Network for years, but he recently moved to DirecTV. I still haven’t subscribed to satellite TV, but my days of holding out are likely numbered.

However, when Howard Stern mentioned he was moving to Sirius satellite radio, well, that clinched the deal for me. I purchased a Sirius radio for Christmas and have been enjoying it ever since! Even my wife wants one, now that she’s in my car and hears the 80’s station (commercial-free, I might add).

Do I like all of these monthly charges (piled on to my Tivo charges already!)? Heck no. But I also appreciate freedom of speech and have had enough of not being able to enjoy entertainment that’s so much more censored from even just a decade ago. (I know, because I’ve been listening to Stern for 15 years or more.)
